Missing them

I miss something today.
Here are they:

I miss my home; my seaside place and glittering water which could be seen from our house. Sigh! I just miss home

There's Hope

Now these things which happened to our ancestors are illustrations of the way in which God works, and they were written down to be a warning to us who are the heirs of the ages which have gone before us. 1 Corinthians 10:11, Phillips.

The murmurings of ancient Israel and their rebellious discontent, as well as the mighty miracles wrought in their favor and the punishment of their idolatry and ingratitude, are recorded for our benefit. The example of ancient Israel is given as a warning to the people of God, that they may avoid unbelief and escape His wrath. If the iniquities of the Hebrews had been omitted from the Sacred Record, and only their virtues recounted, their history would fail to teach us the lesson that it does.

If God's people would recognize His dealings with them and accept His teachings, they would find a straight path for their feet and a light to guide them through darkness and discouragement. David learned wisdom from God's dealings with him and bowed in humility beneath the chastisement of the Most High. The faithful portrayal of his true state by the prophet Nathan made David acquainted with his own sins and aided him to put them away. He accepted counsel meekly and humiliated himself before God. "The law of the Lord," he exclaims, "is perfect, converting the soul."
Repentant sinners have no cause to despair because they are reminded of their transgressions and warned of their danger. These very efforts in their behalf show how much God loves them and desires to save them. They have only to follow His counsel and do His will, to inherit eternal life. God sets the sins of His erring people before them, that they may behold them in all their enormity under the light of divine truth. It is then their duty to renounce them forever.

God is as powerful to save from sin today as He was in the times of the patriarchs, of David, and of the prophets and apostles. The multitude of cases recorded in sacred history where God has delivered His people from their own iniquities should make the Christian of this time eager to receive divine instruction and zealous to perfect a character that will bear the close inspection of the judgment.

That We may be Encouraged

For all those words which were written long ago are meant to teach us today; that when we read in the scriptures of the endurance of men and of all the help that God gave them in those days, we may be encouraged to go on hoping in our own time. Romans 15:4

The lives recorded in the Bible are authentic histories of actual individuals. From Adam down through successive generations to the times of the apostles we have a plain, unvarnished account of what actually occurred and the genuine experience of real characters. It is a subject of wonder to many that inspired history should narrate in the lives of good men facts that tarnish their moral characters. . . . The inspired writers did not testify to falsehoods to prevent the pages of sacred history being clouded by the record of human frailties and faults.

It is one of the best evidences of the authenticity of the Scriptures that the truth is not glossed over nor the sins of its chief characters suppressed. . . . How many biographies have been written of faultless Christians, who, in their ordinary home life and church relations, shone as examples of immaculate piety. . . . Yet had the pen of inspiration written their histories, how different would they have appeared. There would have been revealed human weaknesses, struggles with selfishness, bigotry, and pride, hidden sins, perhaps, and the continual warfare between the spirit and the flesh.

Had our good Bible been written by uninspired persons, it would have presented quite a different appearance and would have been a discouraging study to erring mortals, who are contending with natural frailties and the temptations of a wily foe. But as it is, we have a correct record of the religious experience of marked characters in Bible history. Men whom God favored, and to whom He entrusted great responsibilities, were sometimes overcome by temptation and committed sins, even as we of the present day strive, waver, and frequently fall into error. But it is encouraging to desponding hearts to know that through God's grace they could gain fresh vigor to again rise above their evil natures; and, remembering this, we are ready to renew the conflict ourselves.

Silent Night

Lyrics: Silent night, holy night
(Christmas is in the air, so here is a famous song for you)

Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
'Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia
Christ, the Savior, is born
Christ, the Savior, is born

Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth

Solar Flare Threat

This is worth-sharing news to people in the whole world. Sources are highly credited.

Defence Secretary Liam Fox is due to highlight the threat to Britain's essential infrastructure, amid warnings by scientists that it could be paralysed by a once-in-a-century solar flare. Skip related content

Dr Fox is delivering the keynote address to an international conference on the vulnerability of electricity grids around the world to natural disaster and hostile attack.

Earlier this year, the US space agency Nasa warned that a peak in the sun's magnetic energy cycle and the number of sun spots or flares around 2013 could generate huge radiation levels.

The resulting solar storm could cause a geomagnetic storm on Earth, knocking out electricity grids around the world for hours, days, or even months, bringing much of normal life grinding to a halt.

Scientists are said to fear that a similar effect could be achieved by a hostile power exploding a nuclear weapon in space, producing a massive burst of electromagnetic energy known as a high altitude electromagnetic pulse.

In his speech, Dr Fox is expected to highlight the way that modern societies' dependence on technology leaves them vulnerable to such events.

"As the nature of our technology becomes more complex, so the threat becomes more widespread," he is expected to say.

"While we all benefit from the products of scientific advances so we also create vulnerabilities that can be exploited by our enemies.

"However, advanced we become the chain of our security is only as strong as its weakest link."

The conference, taking place at Westminster, is being hosted by the Electric Infrastructure Security Council and the Henry Jackson Society think-tank.

Strengthened by the Spirit

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man. Ephesians 3:16.

Jesus says, "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11:24. There is a condition to this promise--that we pray according to the will of God. But it is the will of God to cleanse us from sin, to make us His children, and to enable us to live a holy life. So we may ask for these blessings, and believe that we receive them, and thank God that we have received them. It is our privilege to go to Jesus and be cleansed, and to stand before the law without shame or remorse. . . .

Through this simple act of believing God, the Holy Spirit has begotten a new life in your heart. You are as a child born into the family of God, and He loves you as He loves His Son.

Now that you have given yourself to Jesus, do not draw back, do not take yourself away from Him, but day by day say, "I am Christ's; I have given myself to Him;" and ask Him to give you His Spirit, and keep you by His grace. As it is by giving yourself to God, and believing Him, that you become His child, so you are to live in Him. The apostle says, "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him." Colossians 2:3.

Some seem to feel that they must be on probation, and must prove to the Lord that they are reformed, before they can claim His blessing. But they may claim the blessing of God even now. They must have His grace, the Spirit of Christ, to help their infirmities, or they cannot resist evil.
The Spirit furnishes the strength that sustains striving, wrestling souls in every emergency, amidst the hatred of the world, and the realization of their own failures and mistakes. In sorrow and affliction, when the outlook seems dark and the future perplexing, and we feel helpless and alone--these are the times when, in answer to the prayer of faith, the Holy Spirit brings comfort to the heart.

Holiness of Life

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14.

No one who claims holiness is really holy. Those who are registered as holy in the books of heaven are not aware of the fact, and are the last ones to boast of their own goodness.

It is not a conclusive evidence that a man is a Christian because he manifests spiritual ecstasy under extraordinary circumstances. Holiness is not rapture: it is an entire surrender of the will to God; it is living by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God; it is doing the will of our heavenly Father; it is trusting God in trial, in darkness as well as in the light; it is walking by faith and not by sight; it is relying on God with unquestioning confidence, and resting in His love.

No one can be omnipotent, but all can cleanse themselves from filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord. God requires every soul to be pure and holy. We have hereditary tendencies to wrong. This is a part of self that no one need carry about. It is a weakness of humanity to pet selfishness, because it is a natural trait of character. But unless all selfishness is put away, unless self is crucified, we can never be holy as God is holy. There is in humanity a tendency to suspicious imagining, which circumstances quicken into lively growth. If this trait is indulged, it spoils the character and ruins the soul.

God requires moral perfection in all. Those who have been given light and opportunities should, as God's stewards, aim for perfection, and never, never lower the standard of righteousness to accommodate inherited and cultivated tendencies to wrong. Christ took upon Him our human nature, and lived our life, to show us that we may be like Him. . . . We ought to be holy even as God is holy; and when we comprehend the full significance of this statement, and set our heart to do the work of God, to be holy as He is holy, we shall approach the standard set for each individual in Christ Jesus.

SLeeping with the music on

Are you fond of music? Well, I do and I could not sleep without it. For 4 successive nights, we sleep with the music on. It was like an overnight or even 24/7 music in the house. It is nice to listen to comforting religious renditions of music with the use of various kinds of instruments such as piano, violin, harp, guitar, saxophone, trumpet and etc.

I tell you, it is very relaxing and soothing to the ears and spirit that would give your life peace.

A New Life Altogether

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24.

Conversion is a work that most do not appreciate. It is not a small matter to transform an earthly, sin-loving mind and bring it to understand the unspeakable love of Christ, the charms of His grace, and the excellency of God, so that the soul shall be imbued with divine love and captivated with the heavenly mysteries. When he understands these things, his former life appears disgusting and hateful.

He hates sin, and, breaking his heart before God, he embraces Christ as the life and joy of the soul. He renounces his former pleasures. He has a new mind, new affections, new interest, new will; his sorrows, and desires, and love are all new. . . . Heaven, which once possessed no charms, is now viewed in its riches and glory; and he contemplates it as his future home, where he shall see, love, and praise the One who hath redeemed him by His precious blood. The works of holiness, which appeared wearisome, are now his delight.

The Word of God, which was dull and uninteresting, is now chosen as his study, the man of his counsel. It is as a letter written to him from God, bearing the inscription of the Eternal. His thoughts, his words, and his deeds are brought to this rule and tested. He trembles at the commands and threatenings which it contains, while he firmly grasps its promises and strengthens his soul by appropriating them to himself.

When the transforming grace of Christ is upon the heart, a righteous indignation will take possession of the soul because the sinner has so long neglected the great salvation that God has provided for him. He will then surrender himself, body, soul, and spirit, to God and will withdraw from companionship with Satan, through the grace given him of God.
All need to understand the process of conversion. The fruit is seen in the changed life.

Good morning

My husband woke me up today around 6:30 in the morning. When I tried to stretch, he kissed my stomach and anus, as if I was a baby who just woke up. I smiled and said was it raining? He said that yes it was.

It was so lovely hearing raindrops falling and made some natural noise. I just love hearing the various sounds from God’s creations.

Well, today is a very cold day because it is raining and I bet the weather remains as it is until in the afternoon or even in the evening.

Have a happy cold morning to everyone.

Windy Evening

Tonight, I could feel the mighty rushing wind smack across a huge tree outside the room. It is very windy to the extent that our curtains are being blown by the wind. Well, it is very nice to sleep during cold night even without turning the heater on because you could feel the fresh air coming inside your room.

It is better also if you have someone to cuddle with and to share the coldness. Anyway, it is time for me to enjoy and to experience the coldness of the night brought by the windy and rainy evening. Good night to all.

GLoomy Day

When I woke up today, it was drizzling. It was very cold and windy. My morning was a bit gloomy and cold. It was being brought by the weather and the environment. Well, I hope later which is towards in the afternoon I could still see bright spills of sunshine. To my readers, I hope you have a nice day although over here in UK it is a gloomy day.

Goodnight

It is almost midnight over here in United Kingdom and I am still awake. Well, this is because I am updating my blogs and wanted to burn the midnight oil.

To my avid readers, I hope you enjoy reading my posted articles and I hope you have learned something worth remembering. I must say, good night to you and sleep tight. May the Lord will keep watch over you until the morning has broken.

The Test of Character

And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. Malachi 3:3.

Many who profess sanctification are entirely ignorant of the work of grace upon the heart. . . . They lay aside reason and judgment, and depend wholly upon their feelings, basing their claims to sanctification upon emotions which they have at some time experienced. . . .

Bible sanctification does not consist in strong emotion. Here is where many are led into error. They make feelings their criterion. When they feel elated or happy, they claim that they are sanctified. Happy feelings or the absence of joy is no evidence that a person is or is not sanctified. . . . Those who are battling with daily temptations, overcoming their own sinful tendencies, and seeking for holiness of heart and life, make no boastful claims of holiness. They are hungering and thirsting for righteousness. Sin appears to them exceedingly sinful.

In summer, as we look upon the trees of the distant forest, all clothed with a beautiful mantle of green, we may not be able to distinguish between the evergreens and the other trees. But as winter approaches, and the frost king encloses them in his icy embrace, stripping the other trees of their beautiful foliage, the evergreens are readily discerned. Thus it will be with all who are walking in humility, distrustful of self, but clinging tremblingly to the hand of Christ.

While those who are self-confident, and trust in their own perfection of character, lose their false robe of righteousness when subjected to the storms of trial, the truly righteous, who sincerely love and fear God, wear the robe of Christ's righteousness in prosperity and adversity alike.

It requires the testing time to reveal the pure gold of love and faith in the character. When trials and perplexities come upon the church, then the steadfast zeal and warm affections of Christ's true followers are developed.

Embarrassment

Yesterday, that old British woman who embarrassed me two months ago had embarrassed somebody yesterday.

It was just so cruel that he embarrarassed a young man in front of the crowd. It seemed that she did not realize the effect of her actions where in she could hurt others feelings. A woman like her professing to be a christian must shun doing it because it is not godly actions, rather, it is develish and hellish matter.

Well, I do hope and pray that the young man would recover soon from thos hurtful feelings.

"If Any Man Sin--"

If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 1 John 2:1.

When we are clothed with the righteousness of Christ, we shall have no relish for sin; for Christ will be working with us. We may make mistakes, but we will hate the sin that caused the suffering of the Son of God.

If one who daily communes with God errs from the path, if he turns a moment from looking steadfastly unto Jesus, it is not because he sins willfully; for when he sees his mistake, he turns again, and fastens his eyes upon Jesus, and the fact that he has erred does not make him less dear to the heart of God. He knows that he has communion with the Saviour; and when reproved for his mistake in some matter of judgment, he does not walk sullenly, and complain of God, but turns the mistake into a victory.

There are those who have known the pardoning love of Christ, and who really desire to be children of God, yet they realize that their character is imperfect, their life faulty, and they are ready to doubt whether their hearts have been renewed by the Holy Spirit. To such I would say, Do not draw back in despair.

We shall often have to bow down and weep at the feet of Jesus because of our shortcomings and mistakes; but we are not to be discouraged. Even if we are overcome by the enemy, we are not cast off, not forsaken and rejected of God. No; Christ is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Said the beloved John, "These things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." And do not forget the words of Christ, "The Father himself loveth you." John 16:27. He desires to restore you to Himself, to see His own purity and holiness reflected in you. And if you will but yield yourself to Him, He that hath begun a good work in you will carry it forward to the day of Jesus Christ.

All sin . . . may be overcome by the Holy Spirit's power.

Thanks for Coming

During the weekend, our best of friends couple visited us and spent the weekend in the house because they wanted to celebrate their 5th year anniversary with us. Well, we had a good time with them and we enjoyed sharing time. It was like we were brothers and sisters by blood for we slept together in one room and even in one bed. It was so sweet realizing our existence.

To Chiedza and Stanley - Thanks for coming and for spending your 5th anniversary with us. We love you both.

A Hatred of Sin

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Hebrews 1:9.

When in conversion the sinner finds peace with God through the blood of the atonement, the Christian life has but just begun.

The grace that Christ implants in the soul . . . creates in man enmity against Satan. Without this converting grace and renewing power, man would continue the captive of Satan, a servant ever ready to do his bidding. But the new principle in the soul creates conflict where hitherto had been peace. The power which Christ imparts, enables man to resist the tyrant and usurper. Whoever is seen to abhor sin instead of loving it, whoever resists and conquers those passions that have held sway within, displays the operation of a principle wholly from above.

Conformity to the world and harmony with Christ cannot be maintained. Worldly maxims and worldly practices sap spirituality from heart and life. Conformity to the world means resemblance to the world in meeting the world's standard. . . . No man can serve the world and Jesus Christ at the same time. There is an irreconcilable antagonism, between Christ and the world.

How few can say: "I am dead to the world; the life I now live is by faith in the Son of God!" . . . While those around us may be vain and engaged in pleasure-seeking and folly, our conversation is in heaven, whence we look for the Saviour; the soul is reaching out after God for pardon and peace, for righteousness and true holiness. Converse with God and contemplation of things above transform the soul into the likeness of Christ.

Let your heart be softened and melted under the divine influence of the Spirit of God. You should not talk so much about yourself, for this will strengthen no one. . . . Talk of Jesus, and let self go; let it be submerged in Christ.

Justified by His Blood

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9.

God calls for faith in Christ as our atoning sacrifice. His blood is the only remedy for sin.

It is not God's will that you should be distrustful, and torture your soul with the fear that God will not accept you because you are sinful and unworthy. . . . You can say: "I know I am a sinner, and that is the reason I need a Saviour. . . . I have no merit or goodness whereby I may claim salvation, but I present before God the all-atoning blood of the spotless Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is my only plea."

God is approached through Jesus Christ, the Mediator, the only way through which He forgives sins. God cannot forgive sins at the expense of His justice, His holiness, and His truth. But He does forgive sins and that fully. There are no sins He will not forgive in and through the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the sinner's only hope, and if he rests here in sincere faith, he is sure of pardon and that full and free. There is only one channel and that is accessible to all, and through that channel a rich and abundant forgiveness awaits the penitent, contrite soul and the darkest sins are forgiven. These lessons were taught to the chosen people of God thousands of years ago, and repeated in various symbols and figures, that the work of truth might be riveted in every heart, that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. . . . Justice demanded the sufferings of man; but Christ rendered the sufferings of a God. He needed no atonement of suffering for Himself; all His sufferings were for us; all His merits and holiness were open to fallen man, presented as a gift.

Christ calls upon us to lay our sins upon Him, the Sin-Bearer. . . . But if we refuse to let them go, taking the responsibility ourselves, we will be lost. We may fall upon Christ, the living stone, and be broken, but if that Stone falls upon us, it will grind us to powder.

Back

I am back with my husband safe and sound from the long weekend we had. It was a very blissful getaway with close friends considered as close family ties here in UK.

We ate, laughed, talked and shared things that were worthwhile.

Well, back to normal life again.

My Guide and Pilot

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalm 32:8.

Often the Christian life is beset with dangers, and duty seems hard to perform. The imagination pictures impending ruin before, and bondage and death behind. Yet the voice of God speaks clearly, Go forward. . . . Faith looks beyond the difficulties, and lays hold of the unseen, even Omnipotence, therefore it cannot be baffled. Faith is the clasping of the hand of Christ in every emergency.

Every ship sailing the sea of life needs to have the divine Pilot on board; but when storms arise, when tempests threaten, many persons push their Pilot overboard, and commit their bark into the hand of finite man, or try to steer it themselves. Then disaster and wreckage generally follow, and the Pilot is blamed for running them into such dangerous waters. Do not commit yourselves into the keeping of men, but say, "The Lord is my helper"; I will seek His counsel; I will be a doer of His will. . . . It is as impossible for us to receive qualification from man, without the divine enlightenment, as it was for the gods of Egypt to deliver those who trusted in them. . . . Do not trust yourself to men. Act under the divine Guide.

You have been chosen by Christ. You have been redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb. Plead before God the efficacy of that blood. Say unto Him: "I am Thine by creation; I am Thine by redemption. I respect human authority, and the advice of my brethren; but I cannot depend wholly upon these. I want Thee, O God, to teach me. I have covenanted with Thee to adopt the divine standard of character, and make Thee my counselor and guide--a party to every plan of my life; therefore teach me." Let the glory of the Lord be your first consideration. . . . Let every act of your life be sanctified by a holy endeavor to do the Lord's will, that your influence may not lead others into forbidden paths.

Blisters

Yesterday, we walked going to the train station from the long weekend.
We hiked just for twenty minutes with my sandals on.

In the train station, I felt so weak and so tired. I could not just walk straight because of the excruciating pain.
To my surprised, I got 7 blisters on my left foot and 4 blisters on my right foot. It was just very painful. This is my first time having a lot of blisters.

Now, I’ve learned the lesson to put on trainers shoes every time we come and visit places, relatives and friends.

Blister is a collection of fluid underneath the top layer of skin (epidermis). One that is more than 5 mm in diameter with thin walls and is full of watery fluid is called a bulla or a bleb. There are many causes of blisters including burns, vesicant agents, friction forces, and diseases of the skin.

A blister or bulla is a defense mechanism of the human body. When the outer (epidermis) layer of the skin separates from the fiber layer (dermis), a pool of lymph and other bodily fluids collect between these layers while the skin re-grows from underneath.

A Wellspring of Life

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. John 4:14.

Many are suffering from maladies of the soul far more than from diseases of the body, and they will find no relief until they come to Christ, the wellspring of life. . . . Christ is the mighty Healer of the sin-sick soul.

If we let go of Jesus we have nothing to hold on to. . . . Perpetual grace in ever-flowing streams is blessing those who will, if athirst, come unto Him and drink. He who seeks to quench his thirst at the fountains of this world will drink only to thirst again. Everywhere men are unsatisfied. They long for something to supply the need of the soul. Only One can meet that want. The need of the world, "the desire of all nations," is Christ. The divine grace which He alone can impart, is as living water, purifying, refreshing, and invigorating the soul. . . .

He who tastes of the love of Christ will continually long for more; but he seeks for nothing else. The riches, honors, and pleasures of the world do not attract him. The constant cry of his heart is, More of Thee. And He who reveals to the soul its necessity is waiting to satisfy its hunger and thirst. Every human resource and dependence will fail. The cisterns will be emptied, the pools become dry; but our Redeemer is an inexhaustible fountain. We may drink, and drink again, and ever find a fresh supply. He in whom Christ dwells has within himself the fountain of blessing--"a well of water springing up into everlasting life." From this source he may draw strength and grace sufficient for all his needs.

He who drinks of the living water becomes a fountain of life. The receiver becomes a giver. The grace of Christ in the soul is like a spring in the desert, welling up to refresh all, and making those who are ready to perish eager to drink of the water of life.

Radiant Sunset Scenery

Today, when I woke up in the morning it seemed that weather would be very gloomy.
Later towards the end of the day I felt just a little warmth from the sun.
But the time when the sun has set, it was very awesome.

I found lesson in God’s creation and that is the fact that when life seems to be very dull, life still shines. I said that because in real life situations we can experience sadness caused by the loss of our loved ones or anything that caused us to dread.

On the other hand, later, life has still to shine after we have had move on. See, it is like a ferries wheel. It must experience the ups and downs of life.

So, enjoy your life to the fullest. Bear in mind that there is sunlight after the rain just like a radiant sun that was blocked by massive clouds the hinders its power to shine bright.

Christ the Living Word

Jesus is called the Word of God. He accepted His Father's law, wrought out its principles in His life, manifested its spirit, and showed its beneficent power in the heart. Says John: "The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

All that man needs to know or can know of God has been revealed in the life and character of His Son. . . .

Taking humanity upon Him, Christ came to be one with humanity and at the same time to reveal our heavenly Father to sinful human beings. He was in all things made like unto His brethren. He became flesh, even as we are. He was hungry and thirsty and weary. He was sustained by food and refreshed by sleep. He shared the lot of men, and yet He was the blameless Son of God. . . .

Tender, compassionate, sympathetic, ever considerate of others, He represented the character of God, and was constantly engaged in service for God and man.

The followers of Christ must be partakers of His experience. They must assimilate the Word of God. They must be changed into its likeness by the power of Christ and reflect the divine attributes. . . . The spirit and work of Christ must become the spirit and work of His disciples.

In the study of the Bible the converted souls eats the flesh and drinks the blood of the Son of God, which He Himself interprets as the receiving and doing of His words, that are spirit and life. The Word is made flesh, and dwells among us, in those who receive the holy precepts of the Word of God. The Saviour of the world has left a holy, pure example for all men. It illuminates, uplifts, and brings immortality to all who obey the divine requirements.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14.

Native Chicken

My sister came home with her fiance couple years ago.

You know, when you live in the countryside or barangays when we had visitors we cooked native chicken. The reason is it's hard for us to go down to palengke or market to buy food for the visitor. It's quite far from us because we're leaving on the top of the mountain. So as what I've observe that most people living in the countryside prefer to catch and killed native chicken for food than going to the town market to buy food for the visitors. Here in our barangay it takes 30-45 minutes ride going to our town.
We cooked native chicken when my sister and her American fiance visited us last 2008 and 2009. Hopefully by next year another native chicken will be killed again when they go down here in Philippines. As what I've heard from my sister because of the yummy native chicken that we cooked for her husband now (fiance before) Her hubby called her native chicken and my sister called her husband foreigner chicken because he's white and foreigner. Isn't that fun for them to called themselves native chicken and foreigner chicken instead of honey or darling? By the way, for me no matter what they called to each other as long as they love and understand each other, it's fine. Oh well! enough for native chicken.

Bohol White Beach Resorts

Few years ago I visited Panglao beach resort, genesis diving resort and many neighboring resorts. I really love the white sands and the scenery so wow. I took pictures and I will share it with you one of the picture that I took before. When I went to Panglao the weather is so good, the sea air was refreshing. Sitting along the beach with cold mango shake oh! I love it so much. Though I didn't spent much time in Panglao. I saw many tourist from Europe, US and other countries. I hope I can go back to Panglao again and spend few more days in the beautiful beach resort. I need to save some money now.

More Update

For more update this week it's same as usual very busy with my little baby girl. I am sleeping during day time and stay awake during the night time. Life is so challenging for me at this time that my baby is very fragile and so tiny. I wish she will go to sleep in the night instead of waking us up in her cries during night time. Hahaha...that the life of a new mom. But though it's tiresome but she makes me happy. I love her so much.

Baby Makes Me Busy

I just been busy this week, I almost don't have time to myself. My baby get all my time and attention. She really cries so much during the night time. When she's in the hospital she used to be held by the nurses and since we go out from the hospital she cried when I put her in bed. I don't want her to cry for many minutes so I hold her. I don't want to spoiled my daughter but I am just worried because she's premature baby and when I don't hold her she will really don't stop crying. Oh my! I realized that it's very hard to be a mother.

Precious Baby Girl

It's been a little while that I didn't update my blog. I am quite busy for the passed few months. I don't feel like writing and doing something, now I understand why pregnant women is so lazy. It's not easy to carry a baby inside your belly.

I never think that I gave birth to a premature baby girl last month. I undergone to a Cesarean Section and I'm glad I'm feeling better now. My baby is making me busy and she gets most of my attention. She's so precious to me and I'm glad to have a beautiful baby girl. Now, she wakes us up by her cries during the night and she loves to sleep during daytime. It's very hard for me to stay up in the night but I need to, for my baby. Being a new mom is a great responsibility but it worth. It's paid by my baby's smile.

Okay I have to get a going while my baby is not yet up.

Hope and a Bright Future

I really love this picture it reminds me of a new hope and a bright future. Life in this world is uncertain and only one thing I am sure that our life is secure when we are in God's hand. Today is another day and I focus myself to the bright future. It's very hard for me sometimes to deal with many challenges in my life from work, family and other circumstances. My grandma died after New Year of 2010. It's so sad but as what I've said life in this world is uncertain. So, I am thankful to God for giving us courage and blessings despite of the difficulties in life.
